Not even through 2nd week of January and we are already in crisis. Abit earlier this year. I would be seriously concerned if we ever went through a season without a crisis.

If Josh Harris and, presumably, Blitzer were to buy Textor's shares I'd see that as a very positive outcome. Two experienced investors in sports franchises, with experience of the Premier League and very wealthy even by Premier League standards. They also trust Steve Parish. Their shareholding would rise to 81% and would give them overall control of the club. This would also remove some of the doubt about which shareholder stumps up how much toward the new stand. Having 81%, rather than their existing 36%, would make them keener to protect and grow their investment and I think this would bring stability and a platform to grow the club.

They can buyout Textor and Parish and Franco, giving them total control and ownership. They can then decide everything. Who they have as a CEO. Where they take CPFC. What to do about the ground. Etc etc. One thing for sure is that CPFC has massive potential. They would probably secure it for say £100m. If they were then to invest say £600m on a new stadium and strengthening the team, club, management etc. and if they call it right they could easily double their investment or with borrowed funds maybe x5. Massive opportunity for someone, but a hell of a lot of work. One of the last opportunities in the Premier to get a multiple return. Bit like Bill Foley at Bournemouth.
