I’m trying so hard not to be negative… but that was a hard watch. Richard’s may well be a good player but is he the answer in midfield with Hughes and Ahamada on the bench. How bad must they be in training. Bright point… surely we can’t get any worse 2nd half

First time to see Palace live at home as on Amazon. What a dreadful performance. Think that is now 12 games that we haven't scored in the 1st half this season. Defence looks shaky as, particularly at corners, Ward and Johnstone. Edouard looks so lethargic and is leading from the front in lack of desire. Mitchell now added to the injury list. Let's hope we can improve 2nd half. COYP !!

Actually I have a feeling this is all a cheeky ploy by Roy to lure Liverpool and Man City into a false sense of security.

First 10 minutes we were playing high up the pitch, transitioning to a 4-2-4 at times and I thought we might give this a go. Then once they scored you could see the confidence evaporate. Olise looks frustrated and trying to do too much on his own, recognising his teammates are not on the same level. We created more in that first half than the whole game against West Ham but Roy needs to be brave now. Does he throw on JPM and go 442? Or put Ahamada on to add some dynamism. As it is we finished that half terribly after a positive start. Bournemouth's defence looks a bit shaky though, so we are not out of this, but Roy needs to do something, anything. Watching Sinnistera I can't help but ask why we didn't try and sign him. He's looked Bournemouth's best player, is a left-winger and was available on loan.

Awful. Completely lacking in ambition, ideas, organisation. Anything positive, really. Totally correct. We lose 2 of our better players and have nothing to fill their spots with. We buy a couple of new players and their job is to keep the bench from being blown away on gamedays. This is the first time I actually think we could get relegated.

What’s going on with Defoe commentator on Prime shamelessly plugging Edouard before the match. Both with Roy and Parish. What a tit. If Edouard had dived at that cross on 30 mins we would be even. He’s not good. Edited by XKudu (06 Dec 2023 8.37pm)

Thanks for all you did Roy. 4mill a year for some of the least entertaining football ever seen. Good luck with your next venture.

First half performance was dire. Lacking in every area of the pitch. Defence looks all over the place and there was no visible attacking threat. Oh dear, this does not look good. If things don't improve in the second half, I fear I may start to join the shouts for a change of management.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Considering all we ever do is sign midfielders we have a s*** midfield. Schlupp has all the positional sense of a dead rabbit.
