I don’t if it’s because he’s Brazilian but I have a really good feeling about him. Hoping he does well tonight and come into the spurs match and give us a boost

I agree, I think there is a lot to be excited about. He just needs time to adjust but I can see him being a big player for us. All that from one game and reading his body language haha. I hope my hunch is right

A little while ago I was asking about the pronunciation of Eze's name. Now I am getting to grips with Franca which I've been pronouncing as Franka, but last night's commentator referred to him as Fransa. Oh well, that's foreign names for you. I was less confused with Kember, Johnson, Cannon, Jackson, Byrne etc.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

It's because he has a Ç rather than a C In his name. On ability wise I remember the South American expert on Talksport saying he's very good but saying at the moment he can do one magic moment but then give the ball away 10 times and that is why we got him and not other bigger clubs. I don't think he was in first eleven at his Brazilian club. Looking forward to watching him though and hope he's a super player for us!

Even that can be confusing for some of those that work in the club shop, my daughter very nearly ended up with ABROSE on the back of her shirt years ago instead of AMBROSE we still call him Abrose to this day when ever he pops up anywhere Edited by monkey (25 Oct 2023 12.43pm)

'KG' was a useful moniker.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Ah well, that's the price I pay for being no longer able to get to Selhurst.

That makes him quite a rarity in the history of Palace players then; the ability to produce a magic moment.
