Bowler or Homburg? Nah, Willo is a 'Boater' or 'Panama' wearer.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

I agree that SP is the problem. We should be striving to be at least as good as Brighton but with two new managers replaced in both instances by Hodgson we are way off.

I do have a lot of time for Parish and what he has done for the club. But like many others I was somewhat disappointed with our summer transfer dealings. Perhaps if Olise hadn't got injured and Franca was fit and proving to be the wunderkid we hoped for, I would be feeling better. As it is, Roy did say ( or was it Parish?) that this season Palace would be aiming for a top ten finish, so it is they who have raised the bar and led us to believe, not unrealistically, that such an ambition would be reflected in our recruitment. My disappointment with Roy's employment was nothing to do with the man himself, or his management of the team, in fact I am very grateful for his presence, but the silent suggestion with it for me was that the plan was very far from grand and we were looking to scrape by with very little investment in players.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

10 years in the premier league and Parish is the problem. Everton have invested massively in the last few years in players and managers and look at the them the last 2 years. Cant win with supporters these days. As for an expanded stadium. I seen large parts of selhurst empty on saturday for a 3pm saturday london derby game. we delude ourselves somtimes thinking we will fill a bigger stadium. Edited by eaglesdare (29 Sep 2023 12.30pm)

Anyone who thinks Parish is a bad owner, do some homework on Sheffield Wednesday and Reading and their current owners. Then if you still think Parish has not done a good job and is a bad owner, you’re beyond help I’m afraid

Edited by eaglesdare (29 Sep 2023 12.30pm) I think that is excactly the case, expensive stand, expensive tickets, 5000 empty seats, realize what we are, a small club, punching above our weight, because, we have a chairman who saved the club and has managed to keep us in the premier league longer than only 8 other teams, give him the credit he deserves.
