Positive hopefully this means before the window ends we will spend on so players we need right back is a massive issue so is creative player on the wing.

So, SJ is going to demoted & how long do you think he is going to stick around? Not a good policy by the club, back to square one looking for another back-up keeper(again).

Looks OK, but not really tested in those clips, no saves from Palace as far as I could see

Let's wait and see what actually happens before demonising the club's hierarchy. We could find ourselves next Saturday with just Henderson and Matthews on our books as keepers with Guaita shipped off to Spain and Johnstone back in his beloved Midlands.

Very likely, perhaps also without mateta and with a new striker. Beyond that no signs of a new winger or full back. If no winger then hopefully rak sayki stays on the bench for the season

It sounds like there is going to be a bit of a shuffle around. With Sa going to Forest and Johnstone going to Wolves.

Henderson is just about one of hte best prospects around so a great move on paper.

Just hope it doesnt absorb all the transfer bandwith....as keeper is a position that was pretty sorted

Indeed, it is quite possible that our hand has been forced on this, if Johnstone wants to return to the Midlands and has a £10m release clause, which Wolves are about to activate. If so, then Henderson represents a good deal and hopefully we can still do some more business before the window closes.

However, 2 unhappy keepers who want out is not a good thing. But will Henderson be any more likely to settle?

Henderson was vocal enough in wanting more football - if Johnstone goes, he should play every match more or less. Having two England goalkeepers seems a bit weird and hard to balance.
One thing I noticed, however, was it was originally a loan with an obligation to buy for Henderson. Is it now a straight 20 mil transfer? I thought it was 5 mil now, 15 mil to buy at end of season, I haven't read the recent stuff, however. In that case we might still need two first team keepers.

ALL keepers are mad as a box of frogs and who you end up with is a bit of a lottery . We have been quite lucky in the past but it all seems to be coming on top with both our keepers from last season losing the plot under the pressure of a bit of competition .

Henderson will be fine with Whitworth as no 2 .
