Yes but they were doomed by then, first game back after getting promoted will be a lot tougher, a lot like when we played them early when they came up before

we beat them home and away 2-0 Eze scored in both , they didnt look at times very convincing last season , but squad changes are expected in both camps , current squad is better than theres so watch this space

Speaking of strange things why are you now in Weymouth?

Think you're better than us, eh?

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Europa League 2023/24 match schedule is released. So you can already guess alot of the games that will be moved to the sunday.

Id say the conferenace league dates are also the same

I can see a saturday 3pm kicks being rare this season. you have the teams in europe and then you have the top 4 who sky like to show on the tv anyway.

But the last time they got promoted they beat us 1-0 first or second home game with that newly promoted crowd frenzied buzz about them, expect much of the same, but you’re right as in I think we’re better now.

Yep, their crowd were up for it and created a great atmosphere. We were sluggish and played rubbish and they wanted it much more. Baldock had Wilf in his pocket all game too.

We created f00k all and they were worthy winners.

Forte's ice cream parlour - probably the only one left in the land.

I know lots will change, but strange that there are only 2 midweek (Tuesday) fixtures - and both are Bournemouth, home & away fixtures

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season?

That's probably because they will be shown by Amazon. It was the same last season. Amazon bought the right to show all 10 matches in the match week we played Wolves and the reverse match week so 20 matches in total. They then spread the games over 3 midweek nights (Tues to Thurs).
