Link contains an interesting clip of Ronaldo in action.

So about 1/1000th what Ronaldo earns per game

True but no one pays a brass Razoo to watch him do what he does.

Looking at the team names in the Saudi league - if the attached works - I'm wondering if the theme song for the competition is: 'You can call me Al' by Paul Simon.

Looking down the list, I was expecting to see Al-Pardew near the bottom.

Many years ago I had to visit Port Said (Mediterranean coast of Egypt) our usual hotel was fully booked, the agent had us booked in a local hotel called the "Al-Batross", spent an hour looking for this hotel only to eventually find out it was actually called
The "Albatross"

We didn't really see the funny side of it at the time as it put us behind schedule but definitely had a laugh about it in the bar later that evening.

Sky seem to drool over the Saudi League, although I'm not so sure anyone cares what Sky try and push anymore. Netball world cup? There are a couple of transfer know it alls wheeled out who have definitely been slipped a few quid by the Saudis.

If they are literally know it alls, they won't be Dean Jones and Fabrizio Romano, I'm guessing!

How long will it be before sky start to show Saudi Pro League games live?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Instead of Sky paying for TV rights, it would be the Saudi League paying Sky to show the matches. However, I get the feeling Bein sports are Saudi.
