Apologies, not a chant and I have posted this before.

I was sitting in the Arthur for a game in the 70s (when the Arthur was seating at the back and terrace down the front). A bloke came down from the back to return to his seat, presumably after having had a piss or something. He lost his footing, fell, then bounced and rolled down the remaining steps and into the barrier at the bottom (ie beyond which was the drop to the terrace).

As the stunned fella staggered to his feet, a Selhurst wag shouted out, "Oi! Take more water with it, mate!!". Horrible, I know, but this then teenager pissed himself laughing for the rest of the game, the day and the weekend. And I still chuckle now at the memory of it. That's schadenfreude for you!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

I always had a chuckle when Benteke did score , We always sang
"Christian Benteke he scores when he wants "

One of my favourites was i think it was Leicester handed out thousands of clappers to their fans at home and we started chanting " Were Crystal Palace we clap with our hands"

I think it was at the start of 2013/2014 season when, managerless due to Pulis jumping ship, we went to Walsall for a league cup tie.

Our fans in the away end broke into the chant "we're not sure's red and blue army, we're not sure's red and blue army...."

Brilliant!!

I’m glad others can remember, I had my leg in plaster and was on crutches, a broken leg obviously effects your memory as well

Despite the result I do remember enjoying the night and having a good laugh

Remember a couple of rounds of 'you're not singing anymore' also to an empty ground.

Did we come the Steve Gerrard song and demba ba song? I'm sure I heard it in that 3-3 game after the slip against Chelsea? I could be wrong?

The Terry Phelan song was one of our best.

After we beat Chelsea at Selhurst 1-0 in March 2014, the chant rang out: John Terry, John Terry, John Terry, John Terry...Scoring goals for Palace, John Terry....

There was some funny gallows humour that night, once it was obvious we were in for a good hiding and we stopped caring at 5 or 6 it was hilarious. But for the life of me I can’t remember any of it

i was at this game as well ( which was a midweek evening game ) and remember singing 'we are going sick in the morning " I wished i had as a Charlton fan i was working with photocopied mulitple copies of the massive 9-0 headline from the back of the Sun and plastered them all over my desk.

Chelsea fans were singing 'we are staying up' at Bournemouth recently, which pleasantly surprised me. Back in 76 we drew 0-0 at home to bogey team Chesterfield which effectively ruled out promotion, and the song from the Holmesdale was 'que sera sera, whatever will be will be, we're staying in Division Three, que sera sera'.

I don't remember the chant but I was at that turgid game
