From the Palace website:- "Edouard told Premier League Productions: “We didn’t give up until the last minute, and I think it was good. It was good for the team to take at least one point today. “I was happy to start today. I’m a striker so I need to score some goals! I scored one goal today so I am happy, but the most important thing is we played well collectively and managed to take the points, so it’s good.” “[On Ebere Eze] as players, we need confidence, and when he gets the confidence, he’s one of the best midfielders in the league, so it’s very good for Ebs and I hope he will keep playing like this – at least for the last game! “[Personally] I feel well. I feel well on the pitch. I have more confidence like all the team. We are more free, so this is good, and I hope we can keep pushing and take the three points next week.”

He took his goal well but went missing after that. Ayew also tired and neither were helpful to Mitchell, who the opposition targeted with an overlap several times. If Edouard could add workrate to his game it would be nice. In fairness he closed down maybe twice but stopped doing it in the second half. He was rightly substituted and although a poor player, Mateta's hustle unsettled the opposition.

Yes Ayew did a wee jump 5 inches off the ground when the free kick come in but was miles away from it & Fulham scored - yet he chose not to back track to pick up the loose player who scored. At times I find Ayew to be lazy & go down ever so easy he looks for it. The guy that can’t speak English has no drivers license because of it scored a great goal.Even he was beside himself he wasn’t sure - but he went to bed after that kick. Mateta needs a full run out - Ayew needs a chat
