Needs to be sacked.

Notice it was a little old lady HE gave it large too. Had it been a man HE would not have said a word.

Being a white middle aged or older bloke myself, I would say that I can understand people taking offence at the guy’s gesture, I can also understand other people pointing to it as yet another example of having a go at middle aged white blokes. Personally I think it’s a small price to pay, as we’ve (1) got all the money, (2) know what decent beer tastes like, (3) know which toilet to use

Yep, quite outrageous behaviour really. I mean some might think he's there to help people get their coffees and grub.

Pretty sure he will be.

I couldn't work out what it was about anyway regardless of that he attacked the person filming who wasn't involved and appeared to be outside of the shop therefore in a public place. For that alone he should be sacked.

What's a lefty doing in a Starbucks in the first place. Shouldn't they be looking for an independent coffee shop rather than an evil American Corporation who pay slave wages.

Indeed, however I imagine those new t1ts don't pay for themselves.

Are you being serious? If so, you have missed the little touch of satire in my initial post.

I agree with the zero tolerance to racism rule, but the sensationalist headlines and the calls for a lifetime ban etc. are equally ridiculous and do not help the cause but simply pour fuel on the flames.

I wonder what reaction we would have seen if a Korean person in the crowd was caught on camera making an 'open eyes' gesture at Joel Ward.

It does highlight that in every fan base there are racist individuals. I am surprised by some of the posts even on here in the News/Politics section where I seen people say absurd stuff like Tommy Robinson is not a bad guy and how he is actually a good guy. This is from a guy who regularly breaks the law/jailed and says other groups must respect the laws of the UK.

Yep this forum has a high percentage of oddballs.

Seriously mate?

We have an agenda in this country to stifle any objection to multi culturalism and immigration. One manifestation of that is to magnify minor school playground antagonisms into something significant. They have even made saying certain things unlawful.

Hard to imagine that has happened in a country so apparently proud of its freedoms.

No one wants to encourage offensive or rude behaviour to anyone, but this is a football match where for decades, antagonism of opposition fans or players was just par for the course and no one cared less. Now suddenly we all have to be terrified of offending anyone who is not Northern European thanks to our new world order.

In our new found puritanical efforts, we better try and keep some perspective, or else we will all be sorry.

It is astonishing that some people still think they can indulge in this childish stuff in public, since it is now deemed akin to murder. Of course, real murder doesn't make the headlines most of the time because it's so common place in multi culture Britain.

Lucky for us, we have Sky Sports to make sure we find out when some football fan commits such a heinous crime. Let's all be grateful that they want to protect us from such dangerous would be Benny Hill impersonators.

"New World Order" what are you on about? This is a discussion about offensive/racist remarks and people are coming up with all sorts that aren't related to what happened to Son. I am all up for debate but on a post about what happened to Son talking about things like new world order, quotas, woke culture and whatever others have mentioned is not relevant.

I haven't been to Spurs for a long time, but do the stewards there look badly at the Spurs fans when they carry out their anti-Semitic chanting? Or has that chanting now stopped?

I sat with my Spurs mate in the home end of the pitch. They were largely quiet with the occasional burst of ‘Spurs’, but by far the chant sung the most was ‘Yid’, not even ‘Yid Army’, just Yid.

If this guy gets banned for several seasons or whatever they are suggesting then it is massively hypocritical of a club that allows constant anti semetic chants. We are living in a society now where we are supposed to conform to whichever social indifference is flavour of the day. To prosecute without upholding the standards of their own fans is just wrong.
