I predict Olise will take all corners of which is we have no tall players up for them
Ed / Boom Boom / Andersen/ Ward we will not win one as Ayew / Hughes re too small against tall defenders as seen in last two games

The positive is Eze has been on edge of box waiting

1-1 West Ham are no push overs

Settle for 1-0 & overtake Chelsea Billionaire F C

Forever Palace Proud

Let's face it - us, West Ham, Wolves etc. are all pretty similar, as are most PL teams.

All of these games will be decided by an element of luck at key moments unless something especially poor or high quality happens.

Andersen's own goal was pure luck for Wolves. Bazunu dropping the ball at Eze's feet was fortunate for us. Eze's free kick going in off Iversen's arse was fortunate for us. Olise's deflected effort against WH in the reverse game was fortunate for us.

Hopefully we don't make any silly mistakes and we get the rub of the green. All three results are very possible.

The one worry I do have is Mitchell 1 on 1 with Bowen. TM needs to switch on.

I believe on HOL I asserted a few games ago that I was "Cautiously optimistic" that we would not plummet through that dastardly relegation trapdoor.

I accept that on HOL I have gained the reputation as a gargantuan doomsayer and a bastion of negativity.

Not to me Willo, you are very knowledgeable and come up with your own conclusions in your own inimitable style

Mitchell is a very good defensive right back. I doubt that Bowen will get much change from him

West Ham will see this as a must win and will be encouraged by their last performance. They I guess will come at us later in the game so we might be able to get something on the break. I am going for a 1-1 draw.COYP

I think if we score first in this one their heads will drop and we'll see it out, perhaps with additional goals. I have the feeling an early goal for them will see them set up camp however with us clawing one back later in the game. I hope for the former.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Well we had arguably our best result of last season in a 12:30 kick-off. 3-0 v Tottenham Hotspur.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
