Why in the hell did Hughes not have a crack? I know it was on his weaker foot but surely it was worth the effort

We both looked poor, we attacked poorly, they defended well, both teams should be happy with the point, not much else to say.

Think the game showed were we are lacking, full backs and centre forward, i dont think either of the "CFs" made a decent run all game, hopefully both out and a couple of new CFs and FBs.

I doubt we'll have the money unless we sell someone.

Seems like I chose the right game to be under the weather and decide not to make the 7 hour round trip.

Online journalist commentators were glowing about Ayew. But his finishing did lack precision.

Excellent passion.....as always.

Needed Wilf to pressurise them, give them a handful.

DCL a class player, I thought he might snatch it.

Another clean sheet and our goalkeeping department is well taken care of.

Another good Ayew display he is revitalised.

Its a point and we are well clear so respect the point.

Some excellent shooting chances missed late on. Too much faffing around. Eze, as much as I love watching him, was kept out of it today.

Still. A point's a point and we're a step closer to safety. Ayew worked his socks off again and gets my MOTM vote.

Well said POG and as a bonus Everton are still in the bottom 3 . Thought the ref was terrible today also .

WHAT ON EARTH is Edouard doijng in this team???

Has lost each and every duel he has been in, and lost every ball won by a teammate and given to him!!

Wilbraham was a class better!!!

Freddie Ladapo is banging them in for Ipswich, 20 this season.

I thought Ayew was rubbish today actually. An exhibition of his weaker attributes I’d say. Literally did everything and made all the wrong decisions for one of our best chances. The things he does he always does well however he really proved a weak link in attack at times.

It’s not the end of the world by a long chalk, feels slightly like a couple points dropped however overall we just looked off it today, like we’d run out of momentum. We were solid at the back and from set pieces however so that’s one plus. It looked as though they were just throwing themselves to the ground at every opportunity to try and get a goal from a set piece but beyond that had no idea whatsoever.

A real non event but a point and clean sheet. Hopefully we’ll be more up for it against wolves Tuesday. An equally uneventful and slow but relatively comfortable ending to the season looks on the cards but it’s far better than us fighting desperately and perhaps in futility for survival.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

True, still at least we got a point out of it and they all count.

We dont have to spend alot if we are clever, Pukki would be an ideal back up striker, free, one year contract, Docherty is free also, maybe we could get a swap for Edouard, maybe? then a decent RB, Spence from Spurs, James from Leicester? we have 400/500k a week more, i would like Clarke from Sunderland also, but we dont even know who the manager might be
