I was a big fan and eulogized about him during his time with us. But, now we have Doucoure I'm not so sure and also, having watched him playing for Chelsea in recent times, his game doesn't appear to have developed as much as I would have expected.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Tbh I don't see this happening. I'm sure he'd be great if he came, but hopefully Jefferson Lerma will come on a free. We do need an attacking midfielder but we have Ezze Would cost £30mish too

Makes sense for both Chelsea and Brighton but is it what CG wants? If we can afford it we should test the water sharpish - if he went to Brighton I think it would be a difficult one for Palace fans to swallow. He'd cost us a lot (around £40mm+) but if Wilf goes then that would go some way to funding a deal. I'd like to see him back - he and the club and fans had a good connection..

We need to be spending that kind of money on a forward who can regularly score 12-15 goals a season for us.

If Brighton lose Caicedo having already lost Mac Allister then they'll have the money, but Gallagher is a different profile of player to either. He did not look like a £40m+ player last season, so we should get a cut for making him look like one while with us

I do think we need to forget about CG now though. I liked the Lewis Hall rumours. Even if it was only a loan I think he could add some quality to our team.
