Agree with a lot of the sentiments, have really been surprised with his general lack on game time.

If I was Roy, the next game is a no lose game. I'd start with a more combative midfield 3 of Hughes, Doucoure, Lokonga

Tend to agree -
We know our defense on it’s day seen in last 8 games can f do o a good job even against top 5
So midfield needs a lift with what we have.So currently it ain’t working & only player
who must be saying “ s*** it ain’t working & Im on the bench again “ is Hughes.

If would be good to get him a few games to build game time fitness, much needed ball movement & coordination from mid of park to front.

Yet I did notice during game time when he has been on both Ayew & Zaha
are not team mates with him on the park - watch & you will see what I mean

100% thought this for a while. It'd give more freedom to Zaha and Olise and hopefully lead to some better chances created. I'd stick with Edouard up top.

What you wrote was fine until 'Edouard up top'. I really don't get him at all - trouble is Mateta is slightly more fragile. Therein lies the problem.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Exactly. We have to play with a striker as when we play Wilf there we create absolutely nothing whilst also negating one of our main threats. So from the choice of our 2 strikers I'd definitely go with Edouard... and just pray he puts one in off his shin.
