Maybe our resident giraffe will nod one in. Come on Mateta!

I wish we'd just settled on him as our striker, how on earth are players expected to learn from each other during actual game time, it was just ridiculous.

It’s been said on here Arsenal’s confidence is ‘through the roof’ but they could also start feeling the weight of expectation and pressure this brings. They might also think “Palace are due a win and sod’s law it will be against us at crucial time…”

This will be a good game as long as Paddy is brave and instructs them to go out there and play their arses off. If he tries to be cute and the instruction is to defend to catch them on occasional break this Arsenal team will kill us by at least 3 goals.

Same here really, I hope we do put in a performance and maybe scrape a point for those going, but I’ll be sitting in a restaurant just wanting this game out of the way so we can get stuck into the teams around us in the run in

3-0 to Arsenal

Mucky Ron’s for lunch again monkey

Must admit I've never been optimistic about today's game, but strangely, whilst I don't expect us to beat them, I am looking forward to seeing how Paddy changes tactics and who he picks to start.

I'm hoping to pick up a reasonable stream because it should be a fascinating game and I'm certain we won't be thrashed. Another draw would be as good as a win for me.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

This will be a difficult, challenging game.
Do not think the remaining fixtures will be easy games either, judging by the fighting qualities displayed by Everton ,Leicester and Leeds yesterday.Just wishful thinking.

Yep. I was impressed with Southampton’s fight, never say die attitude and attacking mentality.

Over to you Palace. Show us what you’ve got.

First game of the season we lost 0-2 to them, they outplayed us for the first thirty minutes and scored when we didn't defend properly from a cross, we didn't sort that issue out in the slightest and we kept on allowing teams to put balls into our box left right and centre without a care in the world, for the rest of that first game of the season against Arsenal we more then matched them for over an hour deserving to finish the game with at least a point.

Our problems on the pitch were never ever sorted from that very first match ..problems that I believe could've and should've been done, hence the silly mess we're now in.

My only prediction for this game is that the Arsenal fans will be singing Vieira’s name. Shame it’s not at Selhurst. A thank you banner for PV in the Holmesdale would have been a nice touch.

Such a shame to blame the manager for the shortcomings of the club.

Parish is culpable.
Failed to offer the post to Howell,Cooper, who all failed his criteria.
Not doing badly,eh Steve??
Failed abysmally in the last two windows, even though Textor, pledged apparently,£30 m at his disposal for signings.
Ever grateful that he saved the Club, but time for him to move on.
