Palace's best player ever. (I saw my first game in 1973, so I've seen a few good players)! He seems happy now which is great, but he doesn't want to look back on his career with any regrets. So if I was him I'd move clubs and have a few years trying something else. The difference is under Viera, the club appears to have a plan to

Lol, just like the ol' days, eh? Taking the clock end at Highbury etc. No, I read about the difficulties Palace fans were having getting hold of the (no doubt) limited number of tickets, and so I decided to apply for a 'fan number' from Oxford United, which then allowed me to buy a ticket, but obviously not in the Palace section. Based on the map of the stadium on the ticket buying site, I chose the last seat before the line of stewards and then the gap next to the Palace fans, so I wasn't far away from the lads and I got a good lung full of the smoke from the flare that went off when the opening goal went in!

He might see his contract out and move to Roma? Mourinho likes him and can get the best out of him, new challenge, European football and more money

And why wouldn’t we? He is a superstar for us. personally I think he’s getting better, he’s stronger, he’s got a little bit more nouse now and dare I say it he’s less petulant, he’s punishing the thugs who target him the right way, by getting up and scoring a goal

I saw that too Willo. Not ideal (and obviously would rather he was playing) - but I am less worried these days than I used to be about his absence. Might present Olise with an opportunity to shine?

What? He's not going anywhere he has an injury caused by Matty Cash, who didn't even get a yellow card, soon as I see it I thought that is going to hurt, because of social media, and the witch hunt against him, he didn't cry and make a big deal about it like he would have done in the past, well this is the result, referees being to lenient, means we are missing our best player against the best team in the world.

Of course I am very disappointed that Zaha will not be playing tomorrow. Edited by Willo (26 Aug 2022 7.44pm)
