I stand corrected, reports elsewhere said 3 years, but palace website says 5. We must really rate him

Just announced by the club that Rak-Sakyi is off on loan to the Clowns. However, they have sweetened the pill by giving him a 5 year contract.

Good luck to the lad. I've always thought he should have been given more games with the first team.

Hope he comes back from Charlton energised and ready to make a huge contribution to our club.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Malachi Boateng has gone to Queens Park in the Scottish Championship for the rest of the season. Good luck lad.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

And yet another one goes out on loan

[Link]

If I've remembered it right, so far we have sent the following out on loan:

- Hannam to National League Bromley
- Adamarola to Championship Coventry (he played an hour in the League cup defeat)
- Matthews to a Scottish club (can't remember which)
- Banks to League 2 Bradford (played a major part in their win over Hull in the League Cup)
- Rak-Sakyi to League 1 Charlton and now
- Malachi Boateng to Scottish Championship new boys Queens Park.

It's good that these lads are getting the chance to play men's football, hopefully on a regular basis.

Have I missed any?

I have just been looking down the line-ups for today and Boateng and Banks start for Queens Park and Bradford respectively. Rak-Sakyi doesn't feature for Charlton, and Tayo's team Coventry have no game again due to the pitch being unfit for use.

They are away to Millwall but Tayo isn't in the squad

Not strictly a loan out but Wickham has only come off the bench for FGR on the hour and scored an equalizer. Also ex-Palace Academy lad Robertson has also come on.

Indeed. According to the Charlton fans he ripped Plymouth apart in the first half and then ran out of steam, subbed on 60 minutes. Not surprising as this was his debut.

Charlton fans full of praise and already worrying that we will recall him in January.

Banks played for Bradford last night, away to Colchester. Didn't get subbed so was on the pitch to see them concede in the 97th minute as they lost 1-0. Tough one.
