It's only going to get worse.....they don't care about hypocrisy or double standards because they mainly listen to themselves and in the rare instances they do debate they mentally get round it by labelling you as a bad person. When you boil down their arguments, they only have empathy arguments...their one war mirror moral narcissism if you like, to excuse the worsening metrics that the polices their politics support produces....it's one of the reasons that so much censorship exists, because it has to be protected from actual counter analysis being placed before the wider public. Essentially the power structure supports them and the power structure is where the money is.....if you dig any deeper than that it all gets a bit unfortunate. It's all mindless belief batches that most normal people thankfully do not recognise or live by beyond activists and whatever corporations benefit from in the moment. Far left and right types feed off group demonisation and caracatures instead of complexity. Interestingly, the post you replied to is a good example. It's a borrowed quote, newly racialised, originally made by an Alabama mayor. The very next thing the major went on to say is that the only way to fix society is to kill those in these groups. (“The only way to change it would be to kill the problem out. I know it’s bad to say but without killing them out there’s no way to fix it.”). [Link] So it's ironic that it's used to critique others, when its origin is extreme and advocating eradication of groups of people largely based on their opinions. Separately, I would think quotes like this are sometimes elevated amongst the far right because of its history, not in spite of it. There are equivalents left and right but thankfully often not in positions of authority and responsibility. The mainstream has many faults, but it's abundantly clear that alternative wells people may drink from often contain just as much if not more poison. Whether they know they're drinking it or offering it on to others, who knows. They're very often likely just useful unknowing conduits designed to pump stuff out until it reaches the more action orientated. Dumb Terminals if you will. Despite denials, it's firmly centred in hatred of others though and that's what fuels it. You won't find most hurling out unnerving murder origin quotes or videos with line treading far left or right types littering the playlist they're from. It's very easy to give in to extremes, but all it does is damages family and strangers alike. Most people are thankfully far removed from this stuff, and take as they find, rather than routinely value politics over people checkbox style. Edited by BlueJay (02 Jun 2022 5.27pm)

The same crowd who are about to get torched by the vicious down turn on the economy. When their lives slide they will expect the government to bail them out as opposed to robbing a bank. Need to grow a backbone. That type. Edited by dreamwaverider (03 Jun 2022 8.29am)
