Leeds also scored a number of goals under Bielsa. The scored 0 at Leicester. The real problem for Leeds was the sheer number of goals they conceded. In Bielsa's last 10 PL games, Leeds conceded 35 goals.

But yes I agree, they looked like a playground team at Leicester, there was for at least one of the goals an astonishing replay of the entire team chasing after the ball leaving Leicester players unmarked. 'Twas lunacy.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

By all means hate who you like, but why? Because that six offender Stuart Hall annoyingly referred to them as the school of science, as if they had the secret ingredients to how to play liquid football.

Hate is too strong a word. Edited by southnorwoodhill (08 Mar 2022 10.22am) It's been stated on here that they have been top division mainstays bettered only by Arsenal. I do find them a tedious team, they've been of no real relevance for 30+ years now, the most exciting thing about them was when Moyes had them vying for fourth place. Just a very personal opinion but I do find them boring, perhaps an anachronism as somebody suggested. A bold statement indeed but I would like to see them drop, even if just to rekindle some spirit and passion at the club.

To be honest I can't see it actually happening but would love to see them relegated for the first time since circa 1951

It's more in Palace's interests for them to go down than Burnley or Leeds. My preference would be to see the Stripy Saudis go down of course, but their current form suggests otherwise.
I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry. |

I just hope we don't start getting over confident about beating them in the Cup. On the face of it everything is in our favour but so often the formbook is found wanting and it could be an embarrassing banana-skin for us. Setting up a high press as at Wolves (which was our first decent start in ages) and we should progress and maybe lead to another memorable Semi against Liverpool .. OK, I dream, so I'll get me coat.
Man and boy Palace since my first game in 1948 sitting on my dad's shoulders |

No the most unimaginable of dreams Uphill! I don't think we can be overconfident in this one. It just depends on what Palace turn up most of the time and if we do I think it will take something special for them to get a result, they look awful. I still don't think it's Fat Frank's fault, the whole operation is a mess!
