No. I would walk away and do just as Churchill did.

Organise resistance, find friends to assist, and let the professionals do their job.

Aggression needs to be handled by those equipped to handle it.

I thought fighting at school was basically compulsory. Teachers used to watch our fights. I'm not sure how I'd feel if I'd never done it. Kind of fight or be bullied in my youth.

The way things are going, with so many moving here to enjoy the delights of countryside, coast, superfast broadband, Newquay airport, working from home and pasties, Cornwall is tomorrow's England.

Yesterday's Cornwall was fishing and mining.

People don't move to Cornwall for the pasties, they move there to escape what they are leaving behind.

Soon there will be nowhere left to escape to.

I find it interesting when people move miles away from their origins became it usually means that they have no family, or they never see them.
I would happily move to distant shores if I could take my grown up children with me, but I wouldn't leave them behind.
Perhaps this migration to the West is another indication of the demise of the Northern European. Few or no kids, a lack of family cohesion, and a population being pushed to the corners of their own country by the increasing shadow of mass immigration.

Sad really.

Yep, Gerard Butler is 52.

So Danny De Vito v Gerard Butler would be my call.

With the background music from Maple, Bluejay and Danny...let's call them the Three Degrees, as that's the approximate distance between their views.

Surely Joe Biden, similar age, similar doatage , he wouldn't need to act, but remembering the lines might present a problem

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

To use a Lord of the rings analogy I imagine Stirling as Gandalf and Wisbech as Gollum.

The make up department would have trouble achieving Gollum's beauty from the material at hand.

Sorry but I don't quite understand your second sentence, beyond an undoubted reference to Stuart Hall.

Kate Bush sang those words in the recording.

He did sing those words live
