I think that naming storms is just another indicator of the dumbing down of the UK.

Does anyone really care whether their fences were damaged by Storm Bog Paper or Storm Snotty Nose?

Where's Storm Mohamed / Leroy / Khan / Vladamir / Shambala etc.

Seems to be pale and stale.

A couple of large warm fronts, followed by a lot of flooding, particularly in the midlands

I had some garden-based jobs to do this weekend. It's pi5hing down at the moment.
A useful phrase came to mind,.."Why do today, what you can put off until tomorrow ?"

The forecast for tomorrow is even worse
