Not my usual comment, but I have to say, the comparison to how racism is dealt is silly and tenuous, whilst as mentioned there are unpunished players in the league, who have done far worse. This is a matter for the RSPCA and the police, not the FA IMO.

If the club wishes to punish the player because it's bad PR, then so be it. I just find it bizarre that a country full of meat eaters are up in arms about this.

La la la your mum

We don't eat cats dude. Well, most of us don't, or at least, not on purpose anyway. I have eaten Chinese where the chicken definitely didn't look like chicken.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

As well as his public apology, Zouma has apologised to his team-mates at their training ground. It is understood the £29,8 million (US$40,4 million) defender will be sent on an animal awareness course by his club as part of his punishment. — Daily Mail.

A chance to meet the fans anyway.

People who are convicted are banned from keeping animals?

Very good. Funnily enough, it had occurred to me that he fancied eating it for his dinner.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Can we now assume the Sir Mark Todd (friend of the royal family) will be visited by the RSPCA and all his horses will be taken into care ?

Kicking a cat is fcking stoopid

In front of your kids, is not being a good role model, and setting a bad example.

Being a high-profile footballer, videoing the event and putting it on internet, is just being ridiculously stooopid.
"Someone in a high-profile well-paid job thinks their actions are beyond reproach", shock horror

He'll suffer financially for it, not that he'll notice much. And That's all Folks !

Radio phone in last night made me laugh.

Hosts wants a 2 hour debate on whether the public are over reacting etc.

Host "Hasn't this story gone on for too long?, hasn't he been punished enough? Aren't the public being too harsh in their criticism?

Caller "If you had done that would your radio station have fired you?"

Host "Err, mumble yes I suppose so".

Caller "Exactly so no the story will continue until West Ham at least suspend him for a couple of games, end of debate."

Host "err, waffle err lets take the next caller on this subject"

Money talks. The fans won't stop going to games, but the sponsors might not like it

The sponsors today might not like it but if WH get to the Champions league then it will be interesting to see if the position regarding sponsors willing to be associated with the club remains the same.
