Point I am making is don’t get carried away thinking we are going to batter Norwich who are nailed on relegation candidates. If Norwich win tonight they go to within 5 points of Palace, and by all accounts we are having a brilliant season. They need treating with respect.

My sole prediction is that PV will have a difficult time choosing his lineup and subs. Fortunately, he is confident and commands respect, so he'll not betray any sense of uncertainty. For us non-Invincibles, however, it would be a massive challenge to keep the entire squad happy, hungry and unselfish.

A realistic aspiration for Palace is to win this game, the game against Burnley and two games against Watford. Making 36 points and safety (or as good as).

We therefore need to hit the ground running tonight.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Win tonight and we'll be eleven points above the bottom three, stop panicking.

This is truly a six-pointer and a "must not" lose match.

If we lose this I think it’s fair to say we’re getting sucked in down the bottom!! So hopefully a 2-1 win for us with Ed and Olise scoring

There are no easy games, it's all about being well prepared, giving 100%, and playing with a positive mindset.

I really hope we win, but the one bright spot if we do lose is that Newcastle would go back into the bottom three. I'm even more confident we'll win though now that I've seen Lawrenson has us down to lose.

1-1 for me. They are "only" 8 points off us but there are 4 other teams between us and them, really will all of them overtake us between now and the end of the season. We have Wilf, McArthur and others to return and every match we don't lose makes it that much harder for those 8 teams to catch us.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

Going to this game, any recommendations on pubs?

Carrow Road has good f and b for away fans, decent pies and reasonably priced beer in stadium ground floor before going to seats

Norwich have improved significantly and I believe will be favourites to bag all the points given our propensity to concede poor goals.
In my mind is 2-1 to Norwich.
