I think that's a Hodgson approach and not a PV mindset. PV has seen what he can get from Ayew, and what he can get fro Olise. I'd expect the latter to start.

Had we Zaha instead of Ayew, a draw might be possible. Why Ayew ahead of Schlupp? What does he bring to the table? As it is, 3-0 to Arsenal. We'll draw with Newcastle and get smashed by Citeh. That'll be eight points, and one win, from ten matches, which doesn't augur terribly well. And we're not playing badly...
