With a good passionate crowd we can edge it, but this is a good bha team. The idea of a trouncing...doubt it.

I know you can only beat/play what is put in front of you, but they haven't exactly had a tough start have they.

They've got a decent but not unpredictable points return from Watford and Burnley. Brentford are a typical unpredictable promoted side with decent early season form so i'll give the weed credit for that one. And then an undeserved win against Leicester.

We've played Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham! And a decent West Ham side.

They're in a false position. Home win coming Monday.

They will be high on confidence, but we secured points from both Tottenham and West Ham when they topped the league table. This is the perfect scenario for us - being the underdog when those seagulls arrive.

We are NEVER the underdog where that lot are concerned!

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I would imagine that the Liverpool game (especially the set pieces) will feature large in this weeks training sessions

I think The Set piece issue is about the 2nd ball.
We seem to contest the fist ball in, which may take Dunk/duffy issue out the equation. you look at all 3 goals - even The first after the save.
we were left ball watching, whilst pool player was in acres of space.

I was looking at some stats around Brighton's CBs winning the most headers, and the keeper the most punch-clearances under pressure.

This may lead some to think that we need to put Benteke up front for aerial duels. That plays right into their hands. The smarter thing to do would be to start Eduard, and beat them with our football played on the ground.

This match will be a better measure of where we are in our development. I think we have the beating of teams like Brighton, but it won't be easy - few games in the Premier League are.

My Brighton fan mate at work reckons that if Bissouma is out we have a good chance. He says they are better than last season but realistically only good enough to scrape top 10.

Need to get a man on each post at set pieces.

Very basic tactic that modern managers like to ignore for some unknown reason.

Would have saved the first goal last week, maybe the second and possibly the 3rd but what do I know!
