Overrated players I would probably say Mason Mount, I can think of at least 10 players I would pick over him if I were Southgate. Kyle Walker, everyone raves about him but I'm not sure I've ever seen a pass from him go to someone on his team. I would say Kane as well, an excellent finisher but I do wonder how much of his performance is down to Son. If you gave me a choice of Son or Kane at Palace, it would be Son every time. For us, I would have to say Ben Watson, those corners still haunt me and yet he never seemed to stop taking them

Neymar definitely, if he wasn't Brazilian there'd be no hype at all.

watching Brazil tonight, Neymar is barely fit to wear the shirt.

The rest of the squad are giants.....Richarlison is amazing.

Neymar is always full of promise on great achievements sometime next week......

Neymar is good at convincing the referee that he's been fouled, just like Ronaldo. A big part of what's wrong with the modern game, in my opinion.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Finally. For the life of me I have never understood why Neymar is so highly rated, not that I see much of him but when I have seen him I can honestly say I have never seen him have a good game. I thought it was just me.

Goals, goals, goals !
A total of 255 goals in 406 apps for Santos, Barcelona and PSG.
A total of 75 goals in 121 apps for Brazil, just 2 behind Pele's total for his country.

I'm similar - he's not in the Messi or Ronaldo category at all. Not on the same planet really.

Dan James. What does he actually ever contribute to any team he’s been in? He falls over a lot and commits a lot of fouls and that’s about it. £40 million in transfer fees and nothing to show for it.

Purely from tonight the entire English team. A totally inept performance, completely out played by an MLS side.

Neymar ....... seems to be in a permanent honeymoon period, with forgiveness for many failures to deliver

Olivier Giroud ..... World class ? he seems to specialize in wearing the shirt of conquering teams while doing little himself to contribute to the conquest.

Pele ...... the Media's darling. He is good, but not that good.

Mesut Ozil.....my favourite Arsenal player, 42 million quid of lazy wandering shyte.

David Luiz.....another Arsenal hero i love. Always involved in every f..ck-up in the box. Always pointing the finger and blaming somebody else after conceding a goal.

what others ?

Coming late to this, David Luiz is the great mystery "world class" player.

You sum him up well. Memories of him weeping after Brazil got humiliated at home by the Germans substantively down to him...

Rooney. How many of his record breaking national goal tally were penalties or tap ins versus weak opponents in qualifying matches? Other than his debut when he broke his foot (when he was amazing) I only recall dire lacklustre performances in every tournament for England. Giving him the captain's armband was asking for Iceland. Yet the media could not take the tongue out his hole and he was always "first on the teamsheet" to the inevitable detriment of England.
