I think we desperately need a speedster on the right wing, as apart from Zaha ( who has lost pace) we really don't have true pace in the first 11, Lookman would be amazing.

Quite so, as far as an attacking force is concerned, a not very satisfactory window.

We live in hope!!

I agree Zaha does best on the left so if we don't sign a right winger who is under instruction to swing in at least 6 crosses per game to Benteke then we are wasting our time because Ayew on the right will do his best but will not provide service to the best header of a ball in the league.

I think we might see one more before the season starts then maybe another one on deadline day and that will be about it.

Only if it's a bargain buy. We still have a loan option from an English team if we choose to use it.

I reckon that now Gallagher has signed on loan we might get two more in, a young striker and one other.

2 maybe 3 RB uninjured, striker + maybe another mid-field, other than that we should be able to use our kids

I agree, we now need a RB in case Ferguson doesn't play this season, as we shouldn't simply rely on Ward & Clyne.

However, more importantly we definitely need a quality RW, as Rak-Sakyi probably needs another 12 months before he can be seen as a regular. I also think we need a striker to compete with Benteke.

I note some are calling for an attacking midfielder but where does that leave Olise?

Anyway, we still have another domestic loan option and could still sign a couple more, so lots to look forward to.

We may still get Morgan from City or the young striker from Arsenal but at the moment both clubs are trying to use them as part of cash / player deals. If that doesn't work we might still get one.

One more point

Some seem to to see Olise, as the answer for the RW, the kid can play virtually anywhere through mid field , and along either wing.
One problem ,is he is very left footed, when he is on the wide right he does what so many left footed players do ,which is turn inside instinctively so as to be on his left foot. It’s not that he can not go past a full back and get to the goal line but he doesn’t do it as often or as naturally as a more naturally right footed player might do. And when I have seen him do so he still tries to get on that left foot to find his last ball in. For this reason IMO, We should have an alternative type winger , for certain changes in tactic. And we definitely need more than Ayew, and Mateta, to back up Benteke, it’s a long season and If we want successful cup runs as well as a decent league performance , we need someone nearer to Benteke, in experience.

Two wingers, a centre forward and rounded midfield player.

Suspect this is it assuming Clyne is in and haggling over terms of. a contract. I also reckon it's more than possible that we'll get Cahill too.

One loan and someone of the ilk of Rodgers perhaps though he is now a possible makeweight in the Villa deal.

I'm guessing the loan will be Arsenal. This is not just the simplistic Vieira connection but that they have players to offload from their squad who still have value that could be built up with a successful loan.

Nketiah wouldn't surprise me. No room in the inn there for him now Martinelli has progressed.
