At Palace, the penny dropped for me. I really grew up, I went from a boy to a man. “I turned from an exciting player into a dependable player – I matured and became a great professional. I owe them a lot. Good luck to him, but I'm glad hes moved on, 1 goal from an attacking wide player, is poor.

I like Andros. I will miss him, and I wish him well. Whatever his wage at Everton, though, surely he wasn't worth the same amount to us. His situation is the antithesis of Wilf's. At this point in our history, Wilf is worth more to us than to other clubs. Only if our squad excels this season, might we be willing to part with him for a price that others will offer.

The fact he has stated that Everton have signed him as a squad player suggests that this was basically down to money if we did offer him a new deal at all. He'll get another £5m-6m over two years at Everton with no real pressure on his shoulders and as others have said can complete his transition into full-time pundit. He must be about the only person in Liverpool that is happy that Benitez has become Everton's manager! A solid professional and a nice guy and I wish him luck.

Quite sorry to see Andros depart but happy for him that he will still be playing in the Prem. Always gave 100% and helped our fullbacks out a lot, just hope whoever has that job in future is as good.

It's ironic that we sold Yannick to Everton and we signed Andros as his replacement and now he too has signed for Everton. Andros was a good player for us and sent a very heartfelt and respectful goodbye message on Twitter. I wish him well.

My Everton season ticket friend can't understand why they let Bolasie go and signed Townsend instead My Spurs season ticket relation has laughed at me about Palace signing Andros every time I've seen him over the last 5 years. "He's ok, I suppose, if you want someone who's going to put his head down and run, but he ain't got a lot else", he would say. He did concede that his goal at Man City was a good 'un, though.
