Ignorance - Many people in U.S think the capital of my adopted country is Vienna.
Guns- they seem to be the only country in the world that have a law allowing them to carry guns. hence the mass shootings particularly in schools.

Mexico for starters more so than the USA, but then it's easier to blame the dumb old yanks I suppose?
Funnily enough North Korea bans them completely I wonder why?
Gun violence happens for sure, but most citizens will never witness it.
The only time I actually saw some was when I lived on 117th & Adam C Powell in Harlem (now crawling with hipsters & liberals moaning about gentrification)
One HOT humid night I was looking out of the window & heard an argument going on when all of a sudden a guy pulls out a handgun & blasted someone straight in the head the gunman legged it but amazingly the guy who was shot pretty much got up on his feet straight away & I'm assuming by the amount of police who arrived there after the shooting that he refused both hospital treatment & to name who his assailant was.
This incident didn't even make page 34 of the papers

Gun ownership is not uncommon is quite a few countries.

Funny you should mention the swiss army knife, I bought one for the car a few months back.

If you had to swap two of your fingers for instruments on a Swiss army knife, which ones would you choose?

For me it would be the two I lost trying to open my last Swiss Army Knife

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

The two little fingers.

The one I have has over thirty so I can't really think of any more instruments I'd need.

I don't like the way Americans pronounce Z zee instead of zed.

Annoys me even more when people over here pronounce it zee.

And trainers becoming known here as sneakers.

It's probably lucky our gun laws are tighter.

Which instruments from the knife would swap them for? Always thought having a corkscrew as a finger would be pretty cool. Not that the wife would ever let me touch her ever again.

Oh I see what you mean....Mmmm.
I'd quite like the central knife, a knife is quite adaptable...the second would be the magnifying glass.... though the bottle opener is always quite useful.
