Shame we got rid of Max Meyer. With Eze out & a new manager incoming, now would be the perfect time to use him. Not really. I was excited when Meyer came to Palace but he didn't live up to the hype. He doesn't seem to have made much of an impact at Koln since he signed for them in January and probably will be a free against again at the end of the season. I would have liked to see Rak-Sakyi come in but I think he playing for the U23s. Maybe next season he could make the step up.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

We criticise team selection and players who leave never having being given a chance and yet how many of them prove us wrong? Stan Collymore was an obvious example of someone who never got a good run at Palace but for the odd one like him most of these players just fade away. So maybe our managers do know what they are doing.

Terrible news. We have little, if any, creative guile coming from a forward thinking midfield point of view. Hopefully recovery will be swift.

He was never really given a go and when he was, he was played out of position. I watched him during a youth European Championship & he was fantastic. It certainly wouldn't hurt having him around in any case under these circumstances. For what it's worth, whilst the Eze injury is a big blow, it's not something we can't see to. Being the end of the season and everything, it's effectively the equivalent of him picking up a knock at the start of next season and missing a couple of months as a result. We should look at a loan to plug the gap in the early stages of next season and serve as competition when he returns.
We're the Arthur over ere! |

Vultures are already circling for him, the club has got to bring in more players anyway so hopefully their potential is in the same vein otherwise what's the point.

Bad news for the club and Eze. Some players are never the same after injuries like this I really hope this isn't the case with him being so young should hopefully help. If the club keep feeding that vegan rubbish not much hope at all.

I was looking through the gallery of photos On the Palace app taken from last night’s lap around the pitch and I’m sure Eze was on it walking freely. He had a good up and scarf around most of his face but I’m sure it’s him. He was wearing palace socks, football boots and general training gear so maybe the injury isn’t as bad as people are making out. Attachment: 90ECD00E-6FA8-4D92-9EE5-F45D0D9E8D96.png (506.51Kb)
