Anything with Mick Ronson involved. He was brilliant.

Well there a load of songs that cause me an emotional response of one sort or another but seeing and hearing the Seven Seas of Rye by Queen the first time was fairly mind blowing.

I saw them perform that when it first came out

Greyhound Croydon.

A bit of Beatles inspired Tears for Fears - Sowing the Seeds of Love wouldn't go amiss either

Suicide By Suicide was one of the best album they made in my opinion middle 1970s group awesome electronic instrumentation, synthesizers and primitive drums music.

I'll be Missing you and Bittersweet Symphony

I remember I bought thme both on CD singles before they were released in the same week back in the day and they went in at number 1 and 2 in the charts.

Also, embarrasingly enough - Whigfield - Saturday Night. (Well, it is kinda catchy ain't it?)

The first time I heard Geno by Dexys was special - so different to everything else at the time.

The Cutter by Echo & The Bunnymen was another.

And finally My Favourite Dress by The Wedding Present - I'd occasionally listen to Kid Jensen and then about 10 minutes of John Peel but that was too surreal for me at the time. "Here's one from the 3 Mustaphas 3"... What??!!
Later on he used to play The Wedding Present during their Ukrainian Folk Music phase. Odd to say the least.
But My Favourite Dress - full of angst and the horrible teenage years spent trying to understand girls only to be be betrayed later on - all against a backdrop of jangling guitars. Awesome!

You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name.
