Kate had years of this. It ended. Meghan’s had only just started. None of that stuff is worth taking any notice of anyway, and if you don’t, it goes away. But Meghan is both a precious type who expects control of things and people around her. She also has her sights set on bigger things in the public eye so this all matters to her. All signs of narcissism. Include Oprah being at her wedding after meeting her once. Why do that? An eye on possible future needs. Without a doubt on that one.

If you go back to the start of this thread I said I thought the press mocking and criticism had racist undertones, but as time went on you could calmly look and realise it wasn’t any different to previous. Then came the hypocrisy and fleeing for California just before lockdown.

Just to be pedantic ( and I know nothing of the contents of those 2 articles) but Princess Charlotte was not born when Kate got married so her life could not be at risk! On a serious note, I see where you are coming from but Rudi is correct, I don’t think this treatment was racially motivated at all, just bog standard treatment meted out by the press

If she had named names the "culprit" would have faced a load of media s*** but by not naming names everyone in the Royal Family will be under suspicion which possibly helps her agenda

Or maybe have been able to call her out as a liar?

I'm sure that anyone in a mixed race relationship or close to someone who is, would wonder how the genes would be shared out. It is a natural curiosity.
Many people of any colour might ask that question and if they didn't ask it they would be thinking it.

Let's not just accept that this is 'racist' on the word of some stupid attention seeking cow.
If one starts accepting this stuff, then one might be more brainwashed than they realised.

I was very surprised to the posts on this thread on bbs. It does seem to be a normal topic of conversation in mixed race relationships, they can’t all be racist surely?

The Sun (I know) are reporting that MM had complained to GMB and they told Morgan to issue on line apology which he refused to do.
Perhaps MM should apologise for her blatant lie regarding why Archie was not given a title, nothing to do with colour.

Of course it's normal just as a person with black hair having a baby with a blonde partner would wonder about the colour of the sprog's hair

I respect your view and yes, all sorts of accusations being thrown around, unfortunately mainly caused by the interview leaving many threads dangling. Presumably intentionally

Completely agree about press treating people badly, however in Megan’s case, she has been more than happy to use the press when she thinks it serves her so I have no sympathy for her.

In my opinion she’s a media whore. The queen has been an incredible monarch, even an anti royal would have to agree with that. She’s an old lady who’s 99 year old husband is in hospital and now she has to put up with that MM spouting her mouth off, as if she doesn’t have enough to contend with right now.

Genuine question - what makes an 'incredible monarch'? Given that she's the only one that most of us have had it's quite difficult to assess. Also, the role of the Queen is almost entirely ceremonial now, she doesn't actually have any real power in any decisions that are made.
