? You stated the law requires two doctors when it doesn't because it can be nurses or midwives....and then you call me a liar....when that's literally how the law was changed. Speechless. What YOU wrote was:- "Abortion will now be available on-demand, for any reason, up to birth." That is a lie, pure and simple. What I wrote was:- "After 20 weeks 2 doctors must determine whether there is, in their professional opinions, a clinical justification to provide an abortion. The later it gets the more unlikely it becomes that such a justification could be made." That was just a mistake. In fact it would probably be 2 doctors but could be other "suitably qualified health practitioners". You dismissing these people as "nurses and midwives" is beyond insulting. That may well be their initial qualification but these are dedicated specialist professionals whose knowledge and capacity often makes them more able to be objective than a GP. This is a trend not restricted to abortion provision. It's happening across health care. It's why nurses now need degrees before they get their pins and are then encouraged to specialise and study more.

No you shouldn't, but maybe checking out whether are true or not might help Perhaps you should, I already stated that all the summary claims were linked to pages giving greater detail on the law changes. You just focused upon strawman arguments from the summary page from your pro abortion site....which would have known this but chose to ignore it. Edited by Stirlingsays (07 Jan 2021 7.30am)

I noticed you had nothing to offer on rejected abortions under this new law. I looked at the legislation, unless the 'practitioners' feel there is a physical or mental objection or have an objection to the age of the 'fetus' - their name for the unborn child...a situation which seems to suggest could be up to the time of birth. So yes, unless I see statistics that suggest the contrary, I regard 'on demand' as a reasonable practical summary of this new law. In my view, abortion in the majority of cases, is an disgusting immoral act. One that is orders of magnitude worst over 20 weeks. You obviously don't and I regard your pursuance on the 'on demand' description as little more than an exercise in pedantry.

How small can your pin get? "On-demand" means that YOU have total control over the decision making process. If approval has to be given by others then you DON'T have control. Others do. So you lied. You can object to all the principles that are involved in any terms you wish. That's your right. Posting lies is not. I thought you apologised when you were wrong?
