Sounds like Ireland Eagle, I don"t mind that thou as long as you are in a nice warm house with great scenery, fresh air, tv, and gallons of beer in the house, you should be fine! Haha, sounds like my Irish mate who said, ‘if we didn’t play golf in the rain, we wouldn’t play at all.’ The clubhouse for an afternoon of Guiness after golf was an entertaining prospect for sure

Places can be deceptive for sure. I went to Miami for spring break with a pal when i was 24, full of american university clunge, had a great time in the sun for 2 weeks, said i want to live there-obviously by the beach with the clunge and plenty of beer!On the way back to Miami airport in a taxi, we went through towns with steel chimneys billowing out smoke and loads of people in work overalls walking about- it was like you imagine china back in the day! The reality of the place for the masses, rather than the holiday makers, was a wake up call!

Let them go, they don't bring as much as they think they do and they won't be able to join the EU within 5 years if at all because their economy means they'd be a net receiver.

We Jimmy is threatening to hold an illegal referendum this year. It's quite a clever move by the SNP if they do it is unlikely that the unionist parties will properly debate it as it is illegal so the SNP will have a clear field to promote their view. It needs the likes of Gordon Brown to step up and start asking the awkward questions such as: What currency will you use as the UK government will not allow you to be part of the pound? How are you going to fund the massive deficit that Scotland has racked up which means that it cannot join the EU until that has been addressed? If the answer to the above 2 questions is this is the UK's problem not Scotland's then how do you justify to your voters that your first act as an independent country is to p*ss off your largest export market and the global money markets? Freedom of movement to the UK will end in line with the rest of the world, does that not bother you? How will you define a Scottish citizen? And so on.. Edited by Badger11 (24 Jan 2021 12.56pm)

They just can't handle the fact that Rangers are going to win the league easily. Toys out of the pram stuff.

SNP block Salmond allegations from being published even though a court has ruled they can. I have no idea how damaging they are or even if they are truthful but this is supposed to be a parliamentary enquiry into the Salmondgate affair and whether Sturgeon broke any rules. It all sounds very fishy too me. Edited by Badger11 (18 Feb 2021 8.43am)
