The footballers take the knee in support of Black Lives Matter. BLM. Why do you want to water that down? Why do you think you are privileged enough to insist that the words start with lower-case letters? Dont black lives deserve capitalising?

That is why they had the words on the back of their shirts. That is why they have the banners in the grounds.

BLM is political. And that is what the kneeling is about. Honestly, you whiteys are always taking things from other cultures and twisting them up. No wonder they hate us.

It's your claim that's the nonsense. Few people are even aware that there is a political movement which uses "Black Lives Matter" as it's title and exploits the empathy that has developed over the events earlier this year.

It's the sentiment that black lives matter, and not that movement, that is involved and the players are uniting in a joint show to show they all care.

Whether it makes things better or has run its course, are other considerations, but the motivations of those involved ought not be questioned and those who boo them deserve all the condemnation they are getting.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

It's actually worse than that. They don't even want to acknowledge what the kneeling is all about. Instead wanting to turn it into some feel good Pepsi advert where we all kneel and weave daisys into each others hair.

As opposed to wanting to defund the police, f*** up the family structure even more than it is and make us all work on collective farms and s*** before starving to death.

Dan, you are either winding everyone up or you have a very simplistic view of what is going on. You choose to ignore that virtually everyone on here has said they support booting out racism but you still bang on about support for an organisation that generates more hate than it does reconciliation. Have you ever stopped to think that the players should reconsider how they approach booting out racism so it appeals to everyone rather than something which is currently dividing opinion.

Again, ask the players why they are doing it. It is not for the organisation.
