A lot of the critical comments are based on race and the assumption that the crimminal is from a minority group and the officer is white. A lot of the critical comments are based on race and the assumption that the crimminal is from a minority group and the officer is white. Would the reaction be different if the crimminal is white and the officer is black?

He's now in hospital, probably in an intensive care unit. Costing thousands to keep alive. Being protected by Police, costing thousands to stay next to him. If he survives, he'll end up costing the tax payer millions. Terrorist's objective is to disrupt out way of life as must as possible. We shouldn't waste our resources on him.
