The job of politicians is to be wise and deliver what is required and not what is popular. What "most people think" is indeed populism! But it's a poor way to lead a country when what most people think can be foolish. Or led by those who wish us harm and manipulated through the media. We need to be lead by people who can brush aside such influences and ensure we do what is needed. Then they need to defend that every 5 years. That's when WE decide if it's popular or not.
Your argument bares no relation to reality, as usual.

Cornwall has a 99% White, low density population and you can't even get a phone signal in half of it. He knows nothing about the realities of modern Britain.

I offer arguments but what tends to come back are blanket denials or insults. Rarely, if ever, do I see my reasoning analysed and proven wrong.

He knows nothing about the realities of modern Britain. You need to research the meaning of a "troll"! I have been around this site far too long for that hat to fit. A reality check. Sure. A counterbalance to outrageous and unrepresentative opinion. True. I have no idea whether Cornwall is 99% "white" and even less interest. I don't categorise people by such demeaning and irrelevant characteristics. Of course it's a rural environment, as are many other areas of our country, so has a relatively low population density but it's far from untypical. It's just not a city. What difference does that make? People can, and do travel and they can think everywhere. Sometimes they can even think more clearly when they are far away from the day to day immediacy of an issue.

I'm sorry but I can't vote for Starmer... Far to good looking a man to be leader of the opposition... He strikes me as the sort of guy who would be texting your missus behind your back... At least with Boris I wouldn't have to worry about that type of thing!!
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

They do all of those but annoy? Never. I am too busy pitying you to be annoyed. It's not your "colour" that's demeaning is it? It's people thinking it's important that is. Your "colour" is irrelevant to your character. The population everywhere is neither black, brown or white. It is 100% human.

How will I cope? Yes, people are 100% human. Have you noticed that humans don't get on too well? Always finding something to divide themselves with.

Ffs they have been hanging banners telling us all to f*** off as we are not wanted in Cornwall ( until the tourist industry is completely f***ed). What would they say if hundreds were pitching up on their beaches every day, many of whom are Covid positive. This is a fact so don’t try to twist and argue the point. Can you imagine the strain this would put on Cornish NHS, oh desr
