Lukey Bee on Facebook is saying Batman is on his way to Palace. Not sure if that's a trustable source or not. He always tells people he has connections with Palace and has got transfers right in the past....

@carlofficial seems to think a striker is on it's way as well hmmmmm

It could all be click bait, everyone knows we need the likes of Bats. It’s also likely ,with the activity at Chelsea, he is available, and he did well with us before. So it could all be a typical linking job.
Regardless I would like to think Palace will take him , not only did he do the business in front of goal but he worked up a really good understanding with Ayew, and Wilf , by the time he left. And if that could be repeated With Eze, in the picture, we would be on the up.

Agreed. We're a striker short of having had an excellent window. Mitchell isn't ready for the Prem yet, but PVA isn't far off being back and Schlupp is looking good.

Jairo and Max have looked decent in pre-season and Eze looks the dogs. Ferguson will be good once fit too.

Brondby was evidence that we just need someone who can stick it in the back of the net and we'll be okay for mid-table. Without a goalscorer (10+ is all we need) however, things are going to be a tad painful!

Never really convinced by Batshuayi although he is indeed a striker. But what the feck do i know.

I think with love and patience he'll get goals for us again if we sign him. At Chelsea he looks a bit lost and there's a lot of pressure on him. Hopefully it's permanent and not a loan though. If we could buy him and get Gallagher on loan things would really be looking up.
