Good news, thanks for the hint! To me, Benrahma and Osayi-Samuel seems similar kinds of players? Do you or anyone agree? Do we need both? Thoughts appreciated.

BOS represents better value for money and I actually think his style suits us better. But he's further away from being the finished article. Think his friendship with Eze could be a big factor for him and the club though.

Wow if we were choosing between BOS and Benrahma then there’s no way I’d ever choose BOS. Would have to be Benrahma all the way.

Even if one is 4.5m and the other 25m + ?

Palace have allegedly been working on the Benrahma deal for 6months.. and their preference is Benrahma with BOS the back up. If it is indeed going to take £25m.. I think we'll be seeing BOS though!

Yes as long as we could afford it.

Fair enough. I'd personally rather use 25m to add depth to the squad than just on one player who's yet to kick a ball in the Prem. With all this being said, I highly doubt we have 25m to spend unless there's some serious outgoings.

I think our payments to L pool have ended for Tekkers hence £ for Eze, in addition I would think this is the last year for Sakho payments so maybe some wiggle room.

I’m guessing our wage bill at around 77% of income is the killer. We seriously need to offload Tekkers, Sakho and probably Meyer to lighten the load somewhat regardless of any fees ..

We need both to keep the others on their toes Zaha ect and for the future.

We do have money to spend but SP will look at getting the best deals, I think we will spend out about another £30 million in this window.

Yep agree. Just finding any takers for underperforming, overpaid and injury prone players is pretty difficult. I can't see anyone coming in for them tbh and they'll leave once their contracts finish next year. Which is a pretty big cost to us unfortunately.

Many thanks to all for the comments re Benrahma and BOS, very interesting. Wow £30m more is a lot of dosh for a club like Palace, and since I am learning to see you as IITTKK, very encouraging. Many thanks!
