And it's good to see the HOL family can discuss a sensitive issue in a good way!!!!!

People can agree to disagree

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Organization I think

BLM has a website and collects donations so to me that is an organisation.

Philosophies don't need cash

Your very first line is incorrect which affects your whole post. BLM is not an organisation, it's effectively a philosophy as with 'Me Too'.

Black Lives Matter IS an organisation. It's founded on Marxist ideology and also diverts its donations to the Democratic party. This is political.

If the PL campaign has nothing to do with the organisation, then why have the same name? Bit confusing, right?

Why not continue the No Room for Racism campaign or Kick It Out as before?

Not producing enough serotonin. What matters now is the purity of the message. Simply saying that racism is bad no longer sufficient. What matters is actively SHOWING how anti-racist you are.

Plus it sells a lot more football shirt sales. Imagine plenty of soc.libs queuing up now to buy special edition shirts. Probably the must-have item of the summer season.

I suspect that within 12 months there will be lots of white people toting tattoos with varients of BLM. Letters on cloth no longer enough. And what says how down with the brown you are more than a tattoo?

With anybody not willing to show that level of dedication to the cause clearly an enemy.

Exactly Lewis Hamilton calling out his fellow FT drivers because they had not virtual signaled their support. It was the way he did it basically calling them racists

Silence is violence. Publicly bending the knee. And paying up.

Guilt-tripping.

Also dividing the white population. Perhaps I am being a tad on the paranoid side here but this is one hell of a way of doing it. Stressing, over and over again, this notion of either being for BLM or against. No middle ground allowed.

Year Zero s***. The destruction of the monuments, the way political and cultural institutions are bowing down.

Creepy s***. Sinister beyond words. Or, and I cannot discount this, me over-thinking this all. Willing to concede that because the consequences of me being right are terrifying. Even now, I struggle to get my head around that.

Black Lives Matter IS an organisation, with a website and a structure.

It is though also a sentiment which has caught the public mood in recent days.

I would wager that the vast majority of those now expressing sympathy do so with the sentiment and have no connection to, or indeed any knowledge of, the aims and aspirations of the organisation.

To concentrate upon the organisation as if it is all that exists, and not the sentiment, is to seek excuses to dismiss the legitimate rise in public concern. It raises questions on motivation.

That is not to say that using the term on the back of shirts is wise, as I have reasoned in a previous post

I recall seeing a banner "White silence is compliance".

Recent events have certainly not healed any divisions, in actual fact it has had the opposite affect and I suspect the situation will deteriorate even further.

Well they’re a little stupid for not investigating what they’re throwing their full commitment into. At some point they will find out, learn and regret the black tiles on their instagram pages when they realise how the changes they thought should happen, came along with societal and personal damage. Actually I think most people are going about their lives no differently and when work is back to normal there will be another virtue signalling fashion going on. Save the foxes from car deaths or something.

People have started to wake up to defacing Churchill’s statue and chat show guests or politicians in favour of Churchill’s statue being removed and put in a museum. Managed to put off a large majority of British people in one action there. The best own goal in agitating the people they want to give up this, that and everything else.

In the short term, most definitely. Mid to long, not so sure. Being all BLM'y is kind of fun for a lot of soc.libs at the moment. Virtue signalling taking to its ultimate experience. The buzz going through the roof.

But then the comedown. The hang-over. And waking up the fact that these people are not going to let up. Will absolutely expect a serious pay-off. Will hold all the Soc.libs to their promises.

Making noises about defunding the Police is all well and good up until a point but once that starts playing out in terms of increasing crime rates and lack of effective response because the down-sides of challenging Black criminals are simply too high, things might change. Already seem calls for white people simply not to report a crime if they believe the perpetrator is not white. Effectively endure it by way of repentance. That your material loss is a small price to pay. Bruise fade. And rape? Already seen that being glossed over by many on the left already in Europe. A small price to pay for the glories of diversity. Best ignored, especially if it is poorer white 'Karens' on the receiving end. Probably encouraged it in the first place.

Until it really hits home. Then the tide will turn. Sooner than perhaps we might imagine.

I can respect the colour blind philosophy and in some regards it's very important...meritocracy for example.

However, liberalism was doing 'colour blind' fifty years ago and it doesn't work.

Post modernists countered it with unconscious bias and 'institutionised racism'.

It all adds up to the same thing....as the communists said, 'it's all about power'....there is only power, those that have it and those that don't.

Those who still think about life as a cola cola advert or who sell it to others are either lying to themselves (because they haven't been affected themselves yet) or they are lying to others.

If blm was to ask people to abhor and call out ,when seen or heard; racism. Then I'm with that anyway. Their agenda is far more sinister. If your not with me, blm in all its guises then your agin me is what they beleive. My first line is what I'm for and yes a reforming and rethinking is required. Which isnt to say where we are isnt fundamentally where we need to be. But to attack everything which produced this great nation we live in if it had some bad is just wrong. If museums to slavery and bad people were opened there would be attacks on people wanting to visit in the assumption from some, that to be interested and want to learn about it would seem you to be for it.
