I have a really dodgy shoulder and most of my benching is done through pain and a certain amount of anxiety.
I have never dropped a weight on myself and I hope very much that I never do.
I did give myself a partially slipped disc using a very badly designed T-Bar row years ago which will always limit my ability to squat and deadlift but at my age, I don't want to go heavy anyway. I do girlie weights on my legs nowadays.

Absolutely. If there had been anyone else there I would have checked my ego but there wasn’t . Anyway, once bitten. I tend to go more for high reps with a few heavier sets now and then just for variety. Squats and dead lifts are a younger man’s game as well.

very early mornings, I get up and do a work-out to one of Cindy Crawfords or Carol Voorderman's exercise DVD's.

In the past week I have lost around 250ml of body fluids, but am using vast amounts of toilet roll and hand cleaner.

I disengage, I turn the page.
