This treads gone off on a tangent. Seems like the reporting of the attacker being on drink and drugs was inaccurate. Low tech, low key attacks by people already known to the police are signs of desperation from a struggling organisation. Now they aren't getting any media coverage either. Seems like the authorities are winning that battle. This style of attack is a terrorists last resort. The IRA bomb plot on 31st Jan was also disrupted through intelligence tracing materials. The police seem to be on top of that too. Attacks with guns a few weeks ago in Germany were more concerning. Being able to get hold of guns without being traced shows that an organisation is functioning without police knowledge of it.

I didn't say ignore history, after all England was built on wool and Scotland ruined by it. I merely countered your constant comments about Britain now being a terrible place to live due to all the do-gooders and people with ethics and morals damn them. Or, as ewe would say, neo-liberals that set out to fleece us. I wouldn't give tup pence for them myself, hoof grab the limelight and hogget.

I want to know what "the modern identity of Britain" is. OK, well if you find a good definition let me know. My sole contention is that the way Stirling has described it is based upon his rather sad take on life and not the reality for most people I meet.

Those who opened up the country to mass immigration have downgraded the lives of huge numbers of native Britons, though it's mostly the English. Many of whom have had their living spaces changed and altered into alien environments. We were never asked. The imported terrorism, which is part of this mass immigration has also left a scar and another downgrade....though this one can't be solved by surrendering as we did in Ireland. You think you have ethics, that for sure. From what I can tell you have ethics as long as it doesn't affect you. Seems to me, when the s***e hits your fan, you only have a towel for yourself.....as that seating episode displayed. One out, all out.....now that's ethical. Will you stop saying this. I'm rather enjoying life.....I just happen to be rather angry about what's been done to my country. I can compartmentise.
