Ah, great. So nothing to worry about then Why didn't the climate scientists simply ask a gas engineer? Soon the glaciers will start re-freezing, Australia won't be on fire and the rain will stop in the UK. So that's all good then. I can only assume you still didn't read the link (or any other relevant scientific data), which does indeed make your continuing posting disrespectful. because they are too dear.

With all this standing water caused by excessive precipitation one has to be mindful of walking next to large puddles in a road. Not too long ago I was somewhat startled when a vehicle made contact with a fairly large expanse of water, the contents of which were transferred to my clothing probably much to the amusement of the driver. Leicestershire Live tells me: Under British law, drivers could be hit with a maximum fine of £5,000 if they are caught driving through a puddle which causes a pedestrian to be splashed. It is illegal to splash a pedestrian with water from the road while driving your car and you could also be slapped with a public order offence if you are seen to deliberately drive through puddles to target pedestrians.

I remember, decades ago in Croydon, me & a mate were out in torrential rain in my old Mk.1 cortina. I have long held the opinion that there are drivers whose intention is to ensure that those walking or standing adjacent to puddles are soaked as a result of their vehicles entering these expanses of water with the perpertrators erupting into classroom titters or convulsed with chortles. Can't be bothered with posting anything further it you haven't, it's disrespectful But here's a starter for ten, the first section of my link The concentrations of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in atmospheric samples have been measured continuously since the late 1950s. Since then, carbon dioxide concentrations have increased steadily from about 315 parts per million (ppm, or molecules of carbon dioxide per million molecules of dry air) in the late 1950s to about 385 ppm now, with small spatial variations away from major sources of emissions. Edited by Mapletree (23 Dec 2019 1.34pm) Some simple questions? Do you understand the concept of interglacial periods? Do you understand that these events are caused by Do you understand that global warming is inevitable during these periods? Do you understand that questioning the extent to which humans have affected this natural cycle is not denying climate change? Did you know that the last interglacial period about 125000 years ago, had temperatures that were at least as hot as today?

only those deserving.. I readily admit that I don't have a particular distaste for Traffic Wardens, concluding that they are merely carrying out their duties as per their job specification and acting within certain agreed parameters.

17.50 an hour? As this was based on the difference between the earnings of climate scientists and gas engineers, it depends on how much you think a jobbing Professor gets paid
