A daft conspiracy theory? That is no doubt what Neanderthals told themselves round the campfire. We are outnumbered 10 to 1 and in decline. That is outrageous bs. Our birthrate is in decline but we are most certainly not out numbered nor does any forecast suggest we ever will be. Europe and the US are rapidly filling with migrants who will have more children than us and that process will accelerate in the coming decades. More bs. Migrants may currently have more children than us but that will stabilise and match our own levels in time. We are far from "filling up". Look at the UN report I referenced to you in the other thread. Repeating falsehoods don't turn them into truth by magic.
How does anyone arrive at the idea that our days aren't numbered? By being factual rather than believing conspiracy theories. You want to compare something that can be extrapolated using current trends to Bigfoot? No, because what you claim has not, and cannot be, extrapolated. You need to use real data, provided by real analysts, working for responsible, objective organisations. Like the UN. Bigfoot is just an example of how conspiracy theories multiply and become accepted. Just as yours has. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (05 Aug 2019 1.28pm) Edited by Wisbech Eagle (05 Aug 2019 1.48pm)

Sure, issues like high immigration are hot button issues for the right. Right wing politicians aren't reflecting reality if they aren't opposing that. That said, stating opposition isn't encouraging violence.....though I know both sides are guilty of decidedly iffy statements.....Trump makes a dog whistle out of it. The Paso shooter, as with the New Zealand shooter, was motivated by replacement.....that is independent of what a politician says......indeed, they hardly mention it. Regardless of the motive it's a statement of the obvious that murdering innocent people goes against any moral reasoning.....the streets are not a battleground.
It’s not independent of what politicians say though, is it? It’s no coincedence that he decided to attack the ethnic group who are probably most often on the end of Trump’s remarks - didn’t he travel quite a way to ensure he hit a strongly Hispanic area specifically? I find it hard to accept that Trump’s rhetoric around Mexicans and Hispanics played no part in this guy reaching the point he did and targeting the demographic he did.

In all fairness to the Hispanic population of Texas - it was part of Mexico not that long ago.

Edited by Wisbech Eagle (05 Aug 2019 1.48pm) More half truths. Migrants keep arriving here in large numbers and will do so in larger numbers going forward. Their birth rate lowers after about three generations, but endless new arrivals mean that there will always be a new generation who have more children than the existing population. Obviously, this means that an increasing number of children born will not be of Northern European descent. That can only have one outcome.

The guy clearly wasn't normal in the first place, but it's hardly a stretch to think that these high profile inflammatory words from the top questioning peoples place here, may have been a deciding factor.

You would have to think overall world demographics are a worry too. Ten/ twenty years ago European countries such as Greece and Italy tried to incentivise people to have children with cash payments. I believe there was up to 40k to have a child in Greek Cyprus. Nearly all our countries not replacing their own population by birth rate. We need to incentivise children now, rather than demonise parents and force both people to work with high childcare and housing costs. We won't do it though so the war is lost. Inevitably regions gain hegemony and other regions decline. We have been witnessing the decline of Europe since the world wars. One has to suspect an Asian dominated world will emerge.
