With our central defenders, regularly injured. We do need cover . None of the kids , are yet ready,. The season hasn’t started yet and already . Tompkins, looks well short and Sakho doesn’t look ready yet. Pre - season, and the Dann, Kelly. are not exactly looking sound.
Cahill, could easily be the answer, as unlike Brighton,we don’t look like we have got £20 million to buy a promising young player.
The only risk is Cahills form. But you can never bank on form ,no matter what their age is.
