Matt Lawrence was pretty awful. A hobbit at centre half just doesn't for it. I remember him ducking and giving a striker a hat trick from three crosses. Bristol City?

Sad to say that Calamity Claude was nowhere near the worst we have ever had. Cannon was the only decent one for several seasons. Can't remember most of the others of the eighties - probably repressing memories.
