This'll be Roy's Iceland Part 2.

An early Palace goal will slowly see Huddersfield grow in confidence.

By the time they equalise they'll be running us ragged.

The Palace fans will start praying we hold on for a point before the inevitable happens.

1-2

They played well away against West Ham, it will be a scary game ..score could be anything.

4-1 to them.

Throw in the fact RH will no doubt start all his favourites, make his first sub on the 73rd minute (straight swap for someone, probably Benteke for Batman) even when a change will be needed after 25 minutes etc etc. It’s painfully obvious what will happen. If we do manage to win, RH will be justified in his selection and carry on with this tact. I mean, anyone who persisted with Kane taking corners is clearly a stubborn old goat!

It’s a dull existence in the premiership at times … it really is! Away games aren’t even that good as all the clubs are devoid of any atmosphere as ½ are just just bobbing along like us. Just dull …

Are overrated, terribly and he has a weak squad especially from the bench.

My missus loves Leonard Cohen, however I've always called it Music to commit suicide by. Reading this thread has exactly the same effect.

Clubs with nothing to play for tend to play better. What I don't like is the " deserve to be relegated " comment.

The mods should start a new section for whining , moaners called My Glass is Empty.

Our home form has proved a mystery to every manager since Pulis.

Roy saved us from what seemed certain relegation and yet people jump on the bandwagon criticise him non stop and some total winkers even bring up Iceland.

We are 14th FFS, Roy is still carrying the load for poor transfers made before he arrived.

What's wrong with what he said? He's absolutely spot on.

They're all but relegated, we should absolutely murder them, and if we do lose at home to them then how can you argue against what he's said? It would be a disgrace. Especially after recent results.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

How about a thread called blind faith instead?

If we can't beat Huddersfield at home then there's merit to his opinion.

The table doesn't lie, those who get relegated always deserve it.

Complacency and we're too good to go down mentality are the very two things that could come back to haunt us after this game, unless Roy gets his message across and has the squad very well prepared.

I’m really worried about this one

I felt so good about the Brighton game and was confident for a win before hand but the lacklustre performance and lack of fight and passion shown in such a massive game for us gives me real concern for this next one.

Our home form is shocking, performances and tactics have been poor. I predict another very frustrating day, returning no points, with Huddersfield winning 3-0.

My hope is that Huddersfield do indeed play with freedom, figuring they have nothing to lose, and have a good go at us - since this plays right into our hands. If they play in a cautious, disciplined way, we'll get 1 or 0 points as usual, but if they come out of their shell we might be able to play well.

For me, Roy's biggest strength is also his biggest weakness, that being his ability to instil organisation and discipline. When it works we look like a well oiled machine, but when we go behind the players look incapable of loosening up and taking more risks hence we rarely recover. We play some really good stuff at times with quick interchanges and overlapping fullbacks and midfielders, but we rarely produce what I would call exciting football as that discipline is still ever present.

Personally, despite a mixed start, I think Batshuayi will be the difference. I'm going for 2-0, but not expecting a classic.

Think we will win this one comfortably and if Cardiff lose their next two games against Chelsea and Man City, many will no doubt sleep better with both Fulham and Huddersfield all but relegated.
