They didn't find him though, did they. I'm quite prepared to entertain the possibility that Hitler escaped, but at this point, what does it actually matter? He would be long dead by now. I believe the official version that he died in the bunker. There were many witnesses who were all arrested and detained by the Soviets. They were interrogated over several years I think if there was a cover up someone would have talked at the gentle hands of the KGB. Besides it was obvious that the Nazis were finished what would be the point of lying to protect a failed leader. If the Nazis were to make a come back it would be under someone else. There is also evidence that Hitler had Parkinson's amongst other ailments and even if he had survived would have dies of natural causes in a few years. Occam's Razor. Well some high ranking Nazis did escape of course and it is also possible that the allies were quite content to promote the idea that Hitler was dead whatever the truth. It's not really a subject that I have a strong opinion on. He is dead now for sure

There was a recent article saying there were several alternate spellings of his name, one of which was HÜTLER.

There were 3 series Wow, how did they find enough content for 3 series! I watched one, which was probably the first one, and really enjoyed it.

So a recent BBC programme concluded that the Ripper was Aaron Kosminski based on the idea that another murdered woman not usually included as one of the Ripper victims was actually his first kill and close to where Kosminski lived. So no new solid basis for the conclusion other than geo profiling.

So no new solid basis for the conclusion other than geo profiling. I saw this last night thinking this was the new program with the new DNA evidence, it wasn't. It was a rehash of what we know with some informed speculation as to the killer. The idea of a sixth victim who was actually the first kill was a game changer. I didn't buy into it because there was evidence that pointed to a soldier as being her killer. So all the geo profiling was skewed depending on whether you agreed with a 6th victim. I still think the Polish butcher was the likely suspect just not convinced about some of their findings which at one point Emilia Fox said were facts they were not it was informed speculation. Saying that someone lived in the kill zone and had a history of mental illness is a fact naming them as the killer is speculation. Edited by Badger11 (09 Apr 2019 7.56am)

It appears that my personal contention that the murderer was in fact a youngster still goes under the radar. It's my.....Jack the Nipper theory.
