I'm not sure I will be voting for any party but I will be voting for my MP who helped me a lot with the DWP when I was suffering with depression.

When a group of MPs recently chose principle over party the whips were calling for byelections on the grounds electorate vote for parties not people. I can't imagine any rationale Conservative voter in my area putting an X next to Failing Grayling, even he would probably tick the wrong box.

It's all about safe seats and political positioning for most politicians and you often don't see your local MP for dust. An MP who actually cares about his or her local community especially at a time when you genuinely need help is definitely deserving of support regardless of party affiliation. I hope you're getting on well now .

I can't remember which thread it was on but I was discussing my experience as a Poll Clerk and someone queried my claim that people walk their dogs when they vote. Just happened to notice this on the BBC 13.41 Dogs welcomed at Polls. If you are a pooch lover enjoy.
