I feel that a win tomorrow would in some way confirm that we now "belong" in the Premier League. United are the only team now that we have not beaten since our return, after various triumphs over City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs. We have been good enough to, more than once - and a win would firmly announce "nothing to fear" going forward.

I really believe that we are now only a couple of permanent players (CF and AM) away from being a very good team indeed. The best Palace team, with such reinforcements, of my 55 years supporting Palace.

COYP.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

To be fair Man U can still field a pretty good side, just their bench won’t be great. Sanchez and Lukaku up front ,poor little united!

So let's hope their starting XI gets some injuries!

I was confident for this game earlier however below concerns push me to be more pessimistic.

- Possible euphoria because of Leicester win (like happened after Burnley win)
- Major injuries at United side, sufferer team member usually connect to each other with extra motivation

I hope we do not repeat in-home Chelsea performance which we played with too much hesitation probably due to opponent`s name and enhance the momentum in offence and look forward for the first half of the table.

If we could somehow get a win it would really allow us to focus on the cup, but injuries sometimes mean other stars get to shine, like AWB did for us. I would love us to have a repeat of the 5-0 from the 70s (that I wasn't born for!) just so my Dad can stop referencing it Is that too unrealistic of me?

I was at the 5-0 game - it was a wonderful afternoon but the reality was that United were on the wane and only a season away from being relegated. A 5-0 win tomorrow night would be a far greater achievement but also far more unlikely.

The Manc kids will be horribly good and they still have a team with some unreal talent in Sanchez, Lukaku and De Gea. I said previously, and I stand by it, that they remain hot favourites.

Remember when we went up there at the end of a season and got smashed by a bunch of youth players? People are under estimating them.

A win is possible but it's not like they've downgraded to the standard of a Championship side due to their injuries.

On paper they'll still be better than us. Especially with Sakho and -- probably -- AWB out.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Not even a sniff of that suggestion when we didn't have a recognised striker available. If their fans are on board with that, they're desperate. Great for us.

With all those injuries up front looks like Man U will be reduced to starting a front two of Lukaku - the most expensive UK signing - and Sanchez the highest paid Premier League player

What a state they are in

Spot on, Kelly will have them in his pocket.

I’m not sure about hot favourites. They aren’t odds on.

Palace 9/4. This can shorten when teams are announced.

Man Utd 5/4

Yes, but did you see who was the author of that tosh?

Note, our Adrian didn't step up and make a similar suggestion when Palace went to Goodison Park with 13 players in the physio room. Funny that.

Yes, a reality check.

I am crossing my fingers; but it will be tougher than people think.

Given both teams respective records at Selhurst in recent seasons 5/4 would seem like generous odds.
